Abstract: This research aimed to determine the current level of anxiety of the adolescents, aged 10 - 19 years old, of the Manila Boys Town, determine the current level of their self-confidence, and to analyze if there is an existing significant correlation between the noted levels of anxiety and self-confidence of the adolescents who are currently residing at the Manila Boys Town complex. To meet these objectives, descriptive quantitative research method, survey design n particular, was used. Simple random sampling was undertaken among eligible respondents, namely adolescents, male and female, 10 - 19 years of age who are living at the Manila Boys Town, making this study not generalizable to all Filipino adolescents from different rehabilitation institution. A total of 90 respondents, 54 males and 36 females, consented to participate in the survey. Theories such as Abraham Maslow‘s Hierarchy of Needs and Erik Erikson‘s Stages of Psychosocial Development were referred to further strengthen the data gathered in this research study. The findings of this study are as follows: there is a significant positive correlation between the levels of anxiety and self-confidence of the adolescents of Manila Boys Town. In addition, the results also reveal that male adolescents in the institution are more anxious than their female counterparts while they are almost of the same level in terms of self-confidence.
