A Study on the Effects of Urban Migration in Baranggay Santolan, Pasig City

Abstract

This research examines the reason/s why people migrate and the effects of such migration to be able to relate to the readers why this trend is very appealing to those who live in the provinces. At the end of the study, we must be able to distinguish what urban migration is and the reason why people migrate from the rural areas to the urban areas. We must also be cognizant of the effects of urban migration and lastly, we must discern on how urban migration will take part in the forming and developing of the society in the future. This research also includes the beneficial and detrimental effects of urban migration according to the residents of the locale of the study. It delves on fact finding and rational statements that brought about the rise of urban migration. May this research serve well to those who want to unravel the facts and myths regarding urban migration and its facets in the years to come.
