Abstract: This research examines the capability of peasants of Alcala Cagayan to have an access to the medical facilities of the District Hospital of the town to be able to relate to the readers the real situation of the health services in the rural areas or in the countryside. At the end of the study, we should distinguish the various problems of the health sector of the Philippines and its effects on the accessibility of health services for the underprivileged or the poor population. We must determine whether health services is enough or sufficient to support the growing population of the country and if the services are able to reach by the people in the countryside. We must also learn how the poor population especially the peasants in the countryside deal with issues about their health. May this research serve well to those people who want to unravel the facts about the health services of the country and its situation in the years to come.
