dc.description.abstract | The system ONLINE TEST FOR COLORBLINDNESS AND VISUAL ACUITY is the product of today's necessity to determine the health of one's eye without having to leave the comfort of your home. The system provides users with online tests to determine colorblindness and to measure their visual acuity. The test for colorblindness is done with the use of Ishihara Colorblindness slides while the test for visual acuity with the Snellen5s chart. Aside from the tests, the system also provides lectures related to both colorblindness and visual acuity. It also provides a list of eye experts that the users can contact if they are afflicted with any eye disease. Eye experts can apply for endorsement that will give them the opportunity to have their names displayed on the system. But before being listed, the eye experts must complete an application for endorsement that includes several information about them. They also need to include a credential or a document that will help prove their authenticity. Lastly, the system administrator, who should be a licensed and practicing eye expert is the one responsible for updating the contents of the system and for accepting or denying applications for endorsement. | en_US |
