Hearing loss is becoming a relevant problem today. However. there are several hindrances in undertaking and planning a mass detection of hearing loss. The Online Hearing Loss Screening System should be made which will allow users to take tests for hearing loss detection as well as obtain information rcgarding hearing loss, howit is acquired, how it can be cured, what scrvices are offered in the country, and other relevant information. The screening tests to be used and included in the software application are the hearing loss questionnaire, tone audiometry test, and speech audiometry test. Hearing loss and services information will be available online for the user. The screcning application runs the tests mentioned above for the user. An electronic questionnaire is to be answered followed by tone audiometry, which tests cach ear for sensitivity to normal sound levels. Finally, the screening application runs the speech audiometry, which tests the user’s speech recognition. For each test, screening results are shown to the user and, based on the user's responses, advice is given. Either the user is advised as having normal hearing or advised to already seck professional help from hearing experts. If the user wishes to view information on hearing loss or hearing services, the information is accessed onlinc by visiting the website. A System Administrator will handle and maintain the online information. The System Administrator is also able to maintain the website's contents. However, the “Online Hearing Loss Screening System™ is just a screening tool for hearing loss detection. A hearing loss expert's actual test is still much preferred.en_US
