dc.description.abstractThis paper provides a description of how the Philippine human rights movement was led during the period of Martial Law. One of its objectives is to describe the human rights situation in the country under the said period. It also specifies the scope of the Philippine human rights movement at that time and defines its leadership structure as to selection of leaders, extent of these leaders’ tasks and responsibilities, and their leadership styles. Finally, it discovers the strengths and weaknesses that the leadership of the Philippine human rights movement had during the years of Martial Law. This study used-the historical approach in order to describe the general situation in the country during Martial Law. Descriptive analysis was utilized in-treating the data gathered through the interviews.en_US
