Abstract: The focal concept of this study is the implications of the privatization of the Philippine National Bank, a Government Financial Institution, on its workforce. The prevailing predicament that had plagued the PNB employees since the bank's privatization is primarily their job security. The introduction of organizational and systemic changes consequently threatened the employees’ way of life. In an attempt to get the pulse of the employees and formulate a comprehensive study, interviews and surveys were conducted. The final part of the study comprises recommendations meant to assuage the harsh effects of the bank’s privatization.
