Abstract: Mall female prostitution is the 21st century version of women prostitution. The mall, as a popular commercial structure of the present time, is a conducive venue for the carrying out of the flesh trade. It is both accessible for the prostituted women and for the users of prostituted women. Poverty remained to be the main reason why Filipino women engage in prostitution, and m mall prostitution for that matter. Indirectly, economic necessity and lack of alternatives (emanating both from individual situations and from general economic and social conditions) coerced these women into entering the trade. The elimination of whatever form of prostitution including mall prostitution is necessary to emancipate the oppressive condition that prostituted women are placed in our society. They may not agree themselves but prostituted women remain to be objects and subjects of sexual exploitation. And only through the elimination of prostitution, nothing less, could end this cruel fact.
