The Philippine National Police does not have a system of organizing missing per- sons report and also still relies on primitive ways of publicizing identities of missing persons and wanted fugitives. This study proposes an information system which would serve as a centralized database for cases of missing persons. The system would serve as online publicization of cases of missing persons and wanted fugitves and would also allow the public to send tips about said cases. The system includes a face recognition module implemented using Local Binary Patterns for case cross-matching which is also as a method of information retrieval using image.en_US
