CAINTA - CITY IN THE METRO? A Feasibility Study on the Cityhood of the Municipality of Cainta, Province of Rizal and its Membership to Metropolitan Manila.

Abstract

The interesting culture. is a Municipality of Cainta town with an origin and history and overwhelming Catholic Cainta also prides itself of being Rizal's gateway from Metro Manila due to its proximity to the region making itself a good choice for residence, as it is now composed of a lot of subdivisions and villages, as well as an industrial area making it Rizal's most prosperous and first class urban municipality. This thesis is a study if the Municipality of Cainta is ready to become a city and a part of Metropolitan Manila. This study illustrates the Municipality of Cainta and the Metropolitan Manila. It shall discuss the provisions of the 1991 Local Government Code of the Philippines regarding the formation of a city. In the end, this thesis shall look if the Municipality of Cainta met the provisions of the 1991 Local Government Code.
