dc.description.abstract Organizations play a major part in a University' of the Philippines student’s life. This research attempted to determine the motivational factors that cause students to join. More specifically, the researcher looked at the reasons of students for joining organizations. It was hypothesized that the motivation for joining organizations was affected by their gender, year level and membership status. Tire results showed that students’ motivations do not differ in terms of these variables. In addition, motivational domains were ranked accordmg to perceived importance as reflected in the students’ responses. It has been found that “fun” is tire most important motivator while “influence of friends” is the least important. en_US
