Having been able to reduce the crime incidence by 57% and increase crime solution efficiency by 1.16% in 2007, the local police of Marikina really did their duty in implementing these programs. However, the local police of Marikina must improve on the following aspects of the program. They should strengthen their programs on illegal drug trafficking, carnapping, theft and computer shop security programs. It is recommended that the programs particularly the OPLAN DAKLOT or Operation Plan Dakip Salot, FOTO OPS or Focused Tactical Offensive Operations and the Utilization of Force Multipliers Program should be continued with an increased budget and personnel, because these programs help decrease the volume of crime and public 57 order disturbance.
