dc.description.abstract The Griffiths Mental Development Scales -Extended Revised is a comprehensive Developmental Assessment tool used primarily by developmental pediatrics to provide a profile of the child’s strengths and weaknesses in all the developmental streams. It is used to determine if the child is in need of an early intervention or a treatment program by indicating the child's mental age range for that particular area. However, the calculation and analysis of scores to determine the child's age range are very tedious, as it involves many normative tables and repetitive formulas. The Online Griffiths Mental Development Scales-Extended Revised (OGMDS-ER) minimizes this complexity by automating the evaluation of scores and normative value comparisons. It has three users: Examiner, System Administrator and anonymous user. The charts make it easier to determine the percentile where the child belongs. It also gives the examiner the information of the child's status based on the scores. The system does not interpret the scores automatically. It is for the doctors or examiners to decide. The Online Griffiths Mental Development Scales - Extended Revised is a useful online too! for the computation and analysis of scores of the Griffiths Mental Development Scales 一 Extended Revised as well as the storage of the GMDSER profiles. en_US
