dc.description.abstract With the drastic changes to our taxation laws brought about by just the 1st phase of the tax reforms (TRAIN Law 1), it is vital to note its effects on the political satisfaction that is attributed to the current government, especially since political satisfaction is a significant factor for support in a democratic system. As such, this paper would examine the concept of political satisfaction and its current situation in the Philippines, specifically in Imus City, Cavite, the capital city of one of the most vote-rich areas in the 2016 National Elections who, coincidentally, voted for President Duterte. Through the conduct of research, the data to be gathered would attempt to show the changes in political satisfaction brought about by the tax reforms, if there are any. en_US
