Title: A Comparative Study of the Quality of Education in Private and Public High Schools in Quezon City
Authors: Tria, Catherine Jerelle M.
Issue Date: Feb-2009
Abstract: Education has been viewed as an advantagi -providing the educated better opportunities. Many struggle to finish their studies, some turn to cheap public education in hopes to achieve better conditions for themselves and their family. But with the notion that public education are less qualified in providing complete and accurate lessons, these percentage are left uncertain about their future. This paper aims to prove that there is no truth in such beliefs through the example of Quezon City—Metro Manila’s largest city in terms of population and land area—and provide a clearer vision of the public and private education in the area.
