Two-hundered and forty students from Manila Science High School serveJ as the sample population, whose cooperation was authorized by the Department of Administration and the school's Guidance Office. Moreover, it was found out that (1) there exists no significant relationship between perfectionism and shyness, (2) there is a significant, negative correlation between shyness and self-esteem, and (3) there is a significant, positive correlation between perfectionism and self-esteem. Tr.e Manila Science High School community could be made aware of the findings to make interventions and programs as need be, not only for its trademark culture of excellence, but also for the holistic development of students.
