dc.description.abstractDoy packs (tetra-pack made from aluminum and plastics) are considered an everyday waste in the Philippines. It is used for packaging ready to drink juices, which are part of everyday lives of Filipinos especially school children. Recycling is known to be one of the solutions to minimize waste such as doy packs. This research looks into the environmental, social and economic benefits of "doy pack recycling" project of KILUS Foundation, Multi - Purpose Cooperative. In addition, this study evaluated the sustainability of the "doy pack recycling" project using the ''Operational Framework for Sustainable Development.^, This study concludes that recycling of doy pack has environmental, social and economic benefits. Furthermore, it passed the operational framework for sustainable development, thus "doy pack recycling" project can be an instrument of sustainable development.en_US
