dc.description.abstractThis research study focused on assessing the role of an NGO in the development of a community. Gawad Kalinga Project in Welfareville Compound in Mandaluyong City was the chosen program. The researcher formulated the hypothesis that NGOs like Gawad Kalinga contributed greatly on the development of a community. The objectives of the study was to make an evaluation of the educational program from the point of view of the youth beneficiaries and barangay officials, and lastly, the proponents of the program.en_US
