Abstract

This study entitled UA Study on the Dynamics of an Exporting Industry in Guiguinto, Bulacan” provides information about the dynamics of a handicraft industry situated in Guiguinto, Bulacan. It discusses the production process of the firm and its relevance to the lives of its labor force. This study also provides insights on the decline of export sales that the company and the rest of the exporting industry particularly the houseware sector are facing; factors affecting the decline; and the effect of this decline to the elements depending on the industry. This paper gives emphasis on the role of globalization and the obligation of the national government to the exporting industry. Insights and recommendations are expressed so as to help reverse the decline and establish a competitive market in the global field. This paper aims to help understand the importance of such industry- that though it caters foreign markets, it still is a big help to the local industry as it employs local labor force and local suppliers. It will give us a clearer vision on how the exporting industry serves as one of the backbones of the economy.
