Online Tutorial on Methods for Solving Systems of Linear Equation

Abstract

Existing problems encountered by many people today deal with systems of linear equations, more importantly, finding a solution to a given linear system. That is why concepts on linear systems are taught to students today. However, it is not easy to learn the different methods for solving these linear systems. The Online Tutorial on Methods for Solving Systems of Linear Equations (OT-MSSLE) is created as an answer to this problem. Aside from the tutorial, which contains lessons on general concepts of linear algebra and methods for solving linear systems, it also has the Solver, which allows students to enter their own linear system and solve it automatically. A step-by-step solution may be displayed, as well as a direct solution. It also has a quiz part where students may test themselves on how much they have learned from the tutorial. Users with special access may manage the quiz questions from the database.
