Abstract: In this research I did a case study with nine participants in a street in Southville 8B. I used participatory and activity-based methods in data-gathering. On this research I looked at the children's experiences concerning relocation, their day to day patterns in the site, and their conception of space. The children have different experiences concerning their transfer, and their past experiences affect how they handle their trauma. Social networks formed and left affect their experience. The children commented that the relocation site isn't child-friendly, because of inaccessibility of health care, presence of negative forces, and scary places in the area. Their definition of a good house or area is based on a house's space, sensory experiences, and physical materials and features.
