dc.description.abstract In an organization, leaders are often in a position of control over other employees. This being said, they have enough influence over the behaviour of others. Because people respond according to the manner they are treated, the management system they use and how they treat their employees has an impact on how the employees behave. This paper studies the relationship between perceived management system of the employees and their consequent use of impression management. Using the quantitative method of research, a survey questionnaire was administered to the non-managerial employees of LJ Industrial Fabrication, Inc. The survey asked the respondents questions that would determine their perception of the leaders' management system and specific impression management tactics they exhibit in their day-to-day interactions. The results of the research show that while there isn't an association between management systems and impression management, some of the determinants or organizational variables of management systems, Communication and Decision-Making, have an effect on the impression management behaviour of the employees. The study suggests further exploration of these two organizational variables. en_US
