dc.description.abstract The study aimed to explore the difficulties and coping mechanisms of nurses at Ospital ng Muntinlupa during the COVID-19 pandemic, this research described difficulties encountered by nurses at Ospital ng Muntinlupa during the COVID-19 pandemic and describe the coping mechanisms of nurses at Ospital ng Muntinlupa during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study, a qualitative research, was conducted using phenomenological design. In this research, there were 5 nurses interviewed via Zoom. The informants were recruited through convenience sampling method. Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) data analysis was used to analyze the data gathered. There were two theme clusters with associated formulated meanings determined in this study which were the concerns and challenges faced by nurses at Ospital ng Muntinlupa during the COVID-19 pandemic and the coping mechanisms of nurses at Ospital ng Muntinlupa during the COVID-19 pandemic. The concerns and challenges faced by nurses at Ospital ng Muntinlupa during the COVID-19 pandemic include protection for family, anxiety, protection for self, fear, and comparison between pre-pandemic and pandemic. The coping mechanisms of nurses at Ospital ng Muntinlupa during the COVID-19 pandemic include faith, diversion, acceptance, and family support. en_US
