The Correlation of Perfectionism, Shyness and Self-Esteem among Manila Science High School Students aims to discover if there exists a significant correlation between and among the factors mentioned. A survey questionnaire set of socio demographics, personal profile and tests that measure Perfectionism, Shyness and Self Esteem were utilized as the main data- collection tools for the study. Two-hundered and forty students from Manila Science High School serveJ as the sample population, whose cooperation was authorized by the Department of Administration and the school's Guidance Office. Results indicate: (I) that Mascians are generally divided into the shy and non-shy, (2) that there are a lesser number of Mascians whom you can consider perfectionists than those who aren't, and (3) that Mascians have a stable sense of self esteem in general. Moreover, it was found out that (1) there exists no significant relationship between perfectionism and shyness, (2) there is a significant, negative correlation between shyness and self-esteem, and (3) there is a significant, positive correlation between perfectionism and self-esteem. Tr.e Manila Science High School community could be made aware of the findings to make interventions and programs as need be, not only for its trademark culture of excellence, but also for the holistic development of students.
