dc.description.abstract The purpose of this thesis has been to present the students and readers with an important understanding in the call center industry sector. We, have, however, limited ourselves to one particular connotation about a call center job. We see this booming industry as an answer to the unemployment problem in the Philippines. College graduates are lured to work in call centers rather pursue a career more related to the degree they finished mainly because of the commercialized advertisements that call centers offer a comparatively high salary. This study focuses on the real situation the call center agents are dealing every day and every night of their work. This will primarily look at their working conditions in terms of overall compensation, detriments at work and serious labor issues of labor flexibility. en_US
