Abstract:
Quality education is essential to the development of a country's
population. The Philippine elementary public school system at present is having
problems with providing quality education. Factors such as the lack of competent
teachers, classrooms, and textbooks impede the provision of quality education.
This study will examine the present-day problems and operations of
Aurora A. Quezon Elementary School, a public elementary school in Quezon
City, through the use of interviews and surveys of the schools' teachers,
administrators, students and parents. Participant observation will also be used to
know what occurs in an ordinary school day. Data gathered will be evaluated
alongside the standards of quality education.
