dc.description.abstract A first person expository narrative on two (2) facets of a Philippine indigenous culture mirroring sub-culture within a culture as exemplified by the family under study which comes of mix culture parentage as raised within a highly animistic societal matrix equally laced in Catholicism by European missionary fervor in the Cordillera Administrative Region of the country. A member of this family, the writer talks about the ways of her culture, blending and transcending traditional bounds and ties that bind, to aspire for immortality, rather than face decay. en_US
