Abstract:
Plastic waste pollutes the environment, and poses risks to human safety, thus, there is a need for accessible and auditable means of implementing the Extended Producers Responsibility Act in Pasig City. This study proposes to develop an e-commerce marketplace for plastic waste in Pasig City which is web-based platform to be used by businesses such as the micros, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and the obliged enterprises (OEs), and administrators which can facilitate the trade of plastic waste, and record the transactions. The platform is to be developed using Angular, Node.js, Angular Material, and Google Firebase.
