A Study on the Reconstruction Impact of Prayers Between a Healer-Healee Relationship the Case of Oracion

Abstract

Prayers have powers to heal Being such, it is in the interest of this study to reveal what is essentially the art and science behind Oracion as a prayer method. Mr. Bibiano Fajardo elaborated that Oracion is a set of mantras that generates different frequencies, making use of electromagnetical energies to alter the aura. In Oracion use of Power Words allows for the alteration of consciousness as the breath/energy generates the pattern of oxidation taking place in the body. These power words uttered in Oracion are commonly in whispers or Bulong. The knowledge in oracion involves the use of buga/ihip (energy) that is used to change electromagnetical energies of the healee. Another method is use of white sheets of cloth or pieces of woods that are given to the healee after they have been charged with positive energies through Oracion. The individual being an entity of body, mind and spirit is also capable of getting ill in these different levels of his being. Oracion as a modality of healing is appropriately utilized to respond to what the body is suffering which is rooted in his inner self, his mental and emotional functioning. In the healing process one transports energetic patterns in the form of thought, emotions and actions an example technique is Oracion healing. The data provided in this study have been gathered through in-depth face-to-face interviews and presented in a case design method. The study has employed a comprehensive-descriptive and qualitative analysis. This study revealed that aside from the healers technical skills and knowledge in the healing process, sympathy, caring, and compassion are essential factors in healing so that the healer is able to transport the healing energies to the healee in a free-flowing manner. The findings of this study as provided in the cases showed that there is a ‘High Impact’ of Oracion in the psychological healing of a person. It restores the person’s mental and emotional conditions. There is also a ‘High Impact’ of Oracion in physiological healing of the person especially when the cause of illness concerns some form of ‘unseen force’ which is brought about by “kulam.” This is very significant for it takes the part of what modem medicine fails to do. There is ‘Low Impact, attributed to Oracion when the healing that took place was coupled with other factors like herbal medicine. But as the study revealed, still Oracion has to show that it goes along with healing. With Oracion the healer is able to connect himself to the healee as they are connected in the Higher Infinite power. Thus the genuine intention and more concentration of the healer are factors capable of attaining success in the healing course.
