An Assessment of a Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Assisted Project of the Bureau of Women’s Welfare (BWW) Dubbed, Productivity Skills Capability Building for Disadvantaged Women

Abstract

This study examines the effectivity of the Productivity Project of the Bureau of Women’s Welfare, assisted by Japan. Views and ideas from the clients / beneficiaries, social workers and specialists are presented here. Results are taken and studied based on the different theories that might explain the effectivity of such foreign-assisted project. The results of this research are helpful in the further development of the project or in the conceptualization of new projects of similar character.
