A health monitoring and Information system with a reminder system is developed for
the Field Health Units of the Department of Health to replace the paper-based manual
system. COMMUNITY-BASED NUTRITION MONITORING SYSTEM includes functionalities that
would make the consolidation and organization of reports faster and easier. The system
would help in the process of transferring of nutrition reports, for food and micronutrient
supplementation, from every Field Health Unit to the Department of Health. The
computerized filing system allows easy updating and viewing of patient and treatment
records. The transfer of patients, from one Field Health Unit to another, is also covered by
the system. With this functionality, the treatment history of the patient can be easily
retrieved.
Security and accessibility, plays an important part in the system. With these in place,
access by unauthorized personnel would be prevented. Moreover, the reminder system
minimizes the missed consultations of patients. |
