dc.description.abstract This study was designed to compare and determine the motivational factors of public and private school teachers in the college level. Ateneo de Manila University and University of the Philippines, Manila teachers participated in the data gathering of the study. A total of 60 respondents were taken. Results of the study revealed that intrinsic motivators greatly affect respondents' behavior of both universities much more than extrinsic rewards. Self-development and growth is the primary factor that motivates the teachers. Intrinsically related extrinsic rewards are likewise high motivators. Aside from the factors that were presented in the study, no other motivators were found to affect teachers' behavior. en_US
