dc.description.abstract Autism Spectrum Disorder is a developmental disability characterized by social ability impairments and atypical patterns of behaviors. Teaching daily living skills to individuals with this disorder can be di cult in the real world as uncontrolled variables may cause unexpected scenarios to occur. A virtual reality application can be used to simulate real-world scenarios in a safe and controlled environment and can allow the individual to safely explore and interact with the environment, cultivating better skills-acquisition and learning. en_US
