The purpose of this descriptive study was to determine the importance and impact of chronemics and proxemics on superior- subordinate relationships in an intercultural organization. There were a total of eleven respondents. Three of the eleven respondents were Japanese superiors and the remaining 8 were Filipino employees. The sampling technique used was a non probability sampling specifically purposive sampling. The instrument used was an open ended interview. The results were analyzed using a thematic matrix and were interpreted from the emic and etic perspectives. The results show that both the superiors and subordinates regardless of culture use time and space the same way. The similarity in terms of chronemics and proxemics can be attributed to the strong hold of the adaptive culture C. The impact of the use of time and space is not readily apparent to both superiors and subordinates. However they said that the lack of punctuality generates negative feelings and has a negative impact on the relationship between superiors and subordinates. Generally, lateness and multi tasking while talking with someone has a negative effect on relationships, touching frequently also has a negative impact.en_US
