The study aims to find out the relationship between Technological Gap and Internal Communication by answering the main question, “What is the Communication Audit of the Technological Gap in the Internal Communication of the Employees in the Project Management Service Employees of DOTC?” The theories that were adopted in study were the Technology Acceptance Model and Field of Experience model, with the null hypothesis, “there is no relationship between technological gap and internal communication’’. The respondents of the study are composed of 45 employees from the Project Management Service of the Department of Transportation and Communication. Survey questionnaires (Lexis- Nexis Technological Gap Survey and ICA Communication Audit Survey) were used to gather data by means of Random Sampling. Statistical data and correlation were computed and presented in the study. ANOVA test was used to figure out significant difference on the use of technology among the employees and Rho Pearson's Correlation was used to identify the relationship between the major variables. The study found out that technological gap is present in the organization; however, it does not influence the internal communication process among the employees. There was no relationship found between technological gap and internal communication. The study provided implications that despite the presence of technological gap in the workplace, the employees still have a healthy working relationship in terms of how they communicate with one another. Technological gap in the workplace, though, must still not be disregarded. The study recommends further research to support the study, such as inclusion of the number of years each employee has in the work place and their specific job descriptions. Future studies on technological gap were also recommended. One specific area is its effect on the working relationship or productivity of the employees in the organization.en_US
