dc.description.abstract | This study focuses on the relationship between the various strategies in maintaining organization-employee relationship, perceived employee-organization relationship, and employee communicative behaviors. The framework used in this study in examining the associations was inspired by the situational theory of problem-solving theory model by Kim and Grunig (2011). An online survey questionnaire was used to measure the respondents’ perceived employee-organization relationship and employee-communicative behaviors. The case organization’s strategies in maintaining organization-employee relationships as perceived by the respondents were also measured using the online survey questionnaire. The results of the study show statistically significant associations between openness, networking, and assurance of legitimacy strategies with the perceived employee-organization relationship of the respondents. Similarly, positive megaphoning and scouting employee communicative behaviors of the respondents have statistically significant relationship to perceived employee-organization relationship. The results of the study support previous scholarly works suggesting that employees who perceive a good and mutually beneficial relationship with their company are likely to engage in advantageous and strategic employee communicative behaviors. | en_US |
