dc.description.abstract Padre Federico Faura Street is one of the oldest main streets in Manila since the Spanish Colonial Period, rich in history, abounding in cultural and historical structures. The study aims to present Padre Faura Street as a cultural landmark. Research, data collection, and archival documentation, together with the review of related literature were done. A detailed picture depicting the evolution of the geographical, sociopolitical, economic, and cultural aspects relating to the history of Padre Faura Street was presented, starting from the Spanish Colonial Period, to the American Occupation, to the Post-War era and present time. War, change 1in political administration, and modernization are the major factors that influenced the evolution of the street.
