dc.description.abstract This study describes the relationship between the Big Five Factors of Personality and risk behavior across the five domains of life among Filipino managers (N = 108). Under the dispositional approach, it utilized the traits identified in the Big Five Factors of Personality (namely: Extraversion, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, Openness, and Neuroticism) and the two types of behavior commonly manifested during risky situations (risk taking and risk aversion) under the five domains of life (namely: Ethical, Financial, Health/Safety, Recreational, and Social) for the purpose of showing that traits can predict behavior. The main finding showed that Filipino managers are more risk averters than risk takers. The Ethical (E) domain showed a negative relationship with Agreeableness and conscientiousness and a positive relationship with Neuroticism. The Financial (F) domain showed a negative relationship with Agreeableness and a positive relationship with Neuroticism. The Health/Safety (H/S) domain showed a negative relationship with Agreeableness and Conscientiousness and a positive relationship with Neuroticism. Lastly, the Social (S) domain showed a positive relationship with Openness. en_US
