Title: The Impact of Ethical Climate on Employee Commitment and Trust in Leader

Abstract: The aim of the study is to determine the impact of employee perception on ethical climate on employee commitment and employee trust in leaders in a call center in the Philippines. A self-administered questionnaire was answered by 103 respondents who were purposely selected since they report to a direct superior and have been employed for at least 6 months. It was found that employees perceive the most descriptive ethical climate type to be professional and that the level of their commitment to Company X is high while the level of their trust in leaders is moderate. Using Pearson Product-Moment Correlation, a strong relationship was seen between the Professional, Caring and Rules climate type with employee commitment while its relationship with Independence is weak. Among the ethical climate types, only Caring had a relationship with employee trust in leader.
